I. Subjects and Grade Levels

·     Thesubjects will consist of all basic academic classes--Mathematics, Reading,Social Studies (History) , Language Arts (English/Spelling and Grammar), andScience. I specialize in Mathematics, but I can do tutoring of the averagelevel in all other subjects.
·     Eachsubject will have the below average level and the average level of tutoring,excluding Mathematics, which will have below average, average, and advancedlevels of tutoring.
·     Therewill be every sub-subject to be taught in each subject (e.g. I could teach thesub-subject of U.S. History, which is under the subject of Social Studies).
·     Thegrade levels will go no higher than the grade in which I am in (Grade 6), butwill go as low as 4th Grade. The range will be Grades 4-6.

II. Schedule

·     Ihave a busy schedule myself, so there will be a maximum of 5 students.
·     DaysI have free are Wednesday and Thursday, unless we can meet after 4:00 PM onMonday and Tuesday. We shall meet no later than 5:00 PM.
·     Wewould meet at the Pelham Public Library, your house, or at my house. I shalltell you my address once we have to schedule a meeting there.
·     I amlooking for students who need constant tutoring or challenges. The student mustneed tutoring for at least 60% of the school year. I will not accept tutoringfor 1-2 meetings.
·     Iwill create a lesson plan according to what the student is learning and whatthey need.
·     Thereis a limit of 1 lesson per week.

III. Supply Requirements

·     Thestudent will need supplies to complete the courses. I will supply them onlywith the knowledge and textbook (The textbook will still be mine, but they mayuse it when we meet. The student may NOT take the textbook home, as otherstudents may need it).
·     Thesupplies they shall need are reasonable and will not be expensive. They need:
-      (1)1/2 inch binder filled with filler paper, dividers, and 1 folder
-      (1)2-3 subject notebook
-       (1) pencil case with pencils (if wooden,please also have a sharpener), pens, highlighters, coloring utensils (coloredpencils, markers, OR crayons), eraser(s), and anything else necessary for thestudent to learn accurately
-      Theirtextbook from school (if they may bring it).
·     Allitems on the list are necessary for organization and completion of the courses.

IV. Weekly Prices for Lessons

·     30minutes (minimum) -  $10.00
·     45minutes -  $15.00
·     1hour -  $20.00
·     1hour, 30 minutes -  $25.00
·     1hour, 45 minutes -  $30.00
·     2hours (maximum) -  $40.00
·     Extra15 minutes from 1 hour-  $25.00
·     Theseprices are reasonable according to the popularity of tutoring compared to otheractivities.


V. Typical Session

1.     The student does a problem or tells mewhat is going wrong.
2.     We go over an example until they get theprocess or until they understand the text.
3.     We do more problems or go over similartext, or go over other similar scenarios in history, etc.
4.     We take a small quiz to assess and makesure that they know the process, word, or text.
5.     After 5 sessions, the student gets asmall report card of their achievements and grades. I will give a gradingprotocol for the report cards and quizzes.

VI. Promotions

·     After8-10 sessions, you may purchase a tote bag for only $5.00!
·     After15-20 sessions, you will get a tote bag free!
·     Youmay also purchase a tote bag for $15.00.
·     Afterthe completion of 1 year, you get a discount of $5.00 off your first 5 sessionsthe next year if you sign up!
·     Youmay take a free sample session of 30 minutes to see if you are satisfied withmy technique.
·     After2 years of tutoring with my program, you get your first 5 sessions (of up to 1hour) free!
·     Forevery 5 100% quiz scores, the student gets 1 piece of candy!
